What Are Whole Grains?

We are familiar with ‘grains’. They include rice, barley, wheat, and others. The outer shell of these grains is removed. When this shell is not removed we name it ‘whole grain’. The shell contains vitamins, fiber, and minerals. They are essential component of healthy diet.
