The narrowing of spinal canal resulting in compressing of spinal cord and nerve roots appearing from each vertebra is called spinal stenosis. This age-related condition is characterized by pain, numbness, tingling and back ache. There are two types of spinal stenosis; cervical stenosis and lumbar stenosis. Lumbar stenosis is more common.
