With osteogenesis imperfecta... I know that it’s caused by a mutation in the COL1A1 and COL1A2 genes. But I was wondering what is the reason for some people having type 1 and others having type 2 etc. My guess is that the new amino acid being coded for, can determine the severity of the condition, but I wasn’t quite sure.
