What is the difference between peptic and duodenal ulcer???

1Gastric ulcers occur in the stomach while duodenal ulcers occur in the duodenum. 2.Gastric ulcers cause stomach pain 1-2 hours after eating. Duodenal ulcers cause pain 3-4 hours later. 3.Gastric ulcer pain cannot be relieved by eating. Stomach pain in duodenal ulcers can be relieved by eating. .... Am i right ?

You have explained gastric ulcer well but let's not forget that peptic ulcer is different from gastric ulcer, we know that peptic ulcer can also occur in first part of duodenum but the most commonest for peptic ulcer is gastric and the causative organism is H. Pylori

Correct. Adding a point, duodenal ulcers are more common in young people while the other is more common in older people

Peptic ulcer refers to excoriation of the mucous barrier present in the stomach and duodenum. There are different types Eg. Gastric ulcer that take place in the stomach and duodenal ulcer in the duodenum.
