Indications for Pre-exposure Prophylaxis • Healthcare and public health workers including first responders and border workers who have been in contact with suspected or confirmed case and at risk of developing complications e,g. someone with underlying chronic diseases, adults aged 65+, pregnant women • Individuals who traveled to Mexico who are at high risk of developing complications. • To manage outbreaks of Influenza A (H1N1) in a closed community, consider 75 mg dose once daily to everyone. Oseltamivir is approved for prophylaxis.
