Onychomycosis

This is the onychomycosis patient, in this picture the affected part is great toe of both foot, no history of pain and itching.For this the patient treated by Terbinafine 250 mg for 3 month but there is no improvement. Now please tell me which drug is choice for this patient ???

It will take a year, but soak daily in water with tea tree oil. Even apply tea tree oil around the cuticle.

Another product is efinaconazole (Jublia). It is is in a laquer that is painted on the nail I believe once daily. It will take approximately a year also.

Removing the nail will be painful, the toe nail base will remain unprotected. Return of the onychomycosis cannot be ruled out either. But yes, it will take about 1 year for the nail to grow back.
