Myasthenia gravis is a condition in which body produces antibodies against acetylcholine receptors in neuromuscular junction leading to weakness in voluntary as well as involuntary muscles. The weakness worsens with use. Patients show signs of eye muscle weakness as ptosis, diplopia and difficulty watching television or working. Patient complains of dysphagia and difficulty chewing. Speaking abnormalities include dysarthria and hypo phonia with a nasal tinge. Facial expressions are lost. Other signs include paralysis of respiratory muscles with progress of the disease and patient may end up requiring ventilation
