Dry Macular Degeneration

Dry macular degeneration is an ophthalmic disorder which causes blurred vision and decreased central vision. It occurs as a result of thinning of macula. The symptoms of dry macular degeneration are: - Decreased central vision - Image distortion - Unable to see in dim light - Difficulty in recognizing faces - Decreased vision Macular degeneration is an age-related process. It has both genetic propensity and environmental triggers.
