Dengue is a common mosquito-borne viral infection. When Aedes mosquito bites a human being and sucks the blood, it injects the saliva in it to prevent clotting which makes feeding on blood easier. In the meantime, Aedes mosquito transmits the virus into the blood of host. This viral infection is common in over 100 countries especially tropical and sub-tropical countries with urban and sub-urban settlements. Currently, there is no treatment available. However, interventions to relieve symptoms comprise fundamental supporting treatment.
