• CPAP or BiPAP i.e. Non-invasive ventilation - Only in patients with hypercapnia and hypoxia despire medical therapy - Report deterioration of patient and stop treatment • Use Daxopram in case of unavailability of NIV - Stimulates chemoreceptors • Invasive ventilation - Careful administration
