What are the common symptoms of menopause?
Menopause is the process of ending of the monthly menstrual cycle. It happens around the age of 45 and is a gradual process. The process starts as: abnormalities in the cycle (less number of days or less bleeding amount), hot flushes, night sweats, insomnia, vaginal dryness, mood swings, abnormal concentration, hair loss and joint pains. This not a medical condition that requires treatment but symptomatic relief may be given like painkillers, sleeping pills and supplements.
