What May Cause Inverted T-waves on ECG?

T-waves refer to the positive deflection after QRS complex. It indicates repolarization of ventricles. One of the abnormalities of T-wave is inversion. Following condition may exhibit inverted T-waves on ECG: - Myocardial ischemia - Myocardial infarction - Raised intracranial pressure - Bundle branch block - Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy - Pulmonary embolism - Hypertrophy of ventricles In addition to above conditions, inverted T-waves may be a normal finding in children.
