Hi am 19 years an am into my first year in the university I would love to be a gynecologist but I got issues .firstly I would love to know what are the things I need to have accomplished within my 4 years of school before I would qualify enough to get into medicine school .secondly is it advisable to do nursing before becoming the gynecologist or just go straight.thirdly what are the jobs and activities I could do now which will help my Qualifications for the medical schools ,I would be so grateful to see replies and even have a mentor thanks

The best thing you can do right now is to focus on your grades. When you feel comfortable with your classes and if you have spare time, look into medical volunteer positions. Medical school admissions committees look for clinical experience, which is basically anything that shows them that you know what you’re getting into (in other words, do you know what day to day life is like for doctors? Do you know what to expect when becoming a doctor?). Good luck with everything!
