Hemoptysis :- MC Source - Bronchial Artery MC Cause - TB Massive Hemoptysis > 600 mg/day :- A) If Unstable - Stabilise Him - Insert Rigid Bronchoscopy ( Diagnostic And Therapeutic ) B) If Stable - CT Chest - Plan For Fibroptic Bronchoscopy ( FOB ) . Non-Massive Hemoptysis :- A) CXR - Normal - Check if high risk or low risk malignancy. If Low Risk, Then Reassure And Give Antibiotics And If Recurrent Or High Risk, CT Chest And FOB . B) CXR - Abnormal - CT Chest And FOB .
