This babies head is popping out of his mothers womb during a c- section and is half way though his delivery! A team of obstetricians r performing c-section when vaginal delivery would put the babies/mothesr lyff or health at risk..,complications such as breech presentation ( babies buttocks ,instead of the head,exits the pelvis first ) ,fetal distress ,cord collapse ,failed labour induction and macrosomia ( babies weight >4kg)... Either a transeverse or a vertical incision may b made on the uterus and must allow enough room to deliver the fetus without risking injury (either tearing or cutting ) to the uterine arteries and veins that are located at the lateral margins of the uterus... The initial incision is small n is continued in the uterine wall untill either the fetal membranes r visualized or the cavity is entered ,with care taken not to injure the underlying fetus . The incision is then,extended bilaterally and the presenting part of the fetus is indentified .It is delivered either as a vertex presentation or as a breech.,with the help of the obstetricians and the contractile forces of the uterus...
