Chelating agents like succimer and penacillamine which are given orally and dimercaprol and ethylenediamine tetraaceticacid (EDTA) calcium disodium versenate (CaNa2 EDTA) are administered parenterally.

1. Remove underlying exposure 2. Chelating agents. Succimer, I believe, is considered first line.
