Abnormal Lung Sounds

Abnormal lung sounds include crackles, stridor, wheezes, pleural friction rub, and stridor. There are two types of abnormal breath sounds - discontinuous and continuous. Discontinuous sounds include coarse crackles, fine crackles, and pleural friction rub. Continuous sounds include low-pitched, monophonic wheeze & high-pitched, polyphonic wheeze, and stridor.
