Down syndrome is a congenital disorder characterized by trisomy of chromosome 21 i.e. they have an extra copy of chromosome 21. The patient if the Down syndrome presents with: 1. Flattened face and nose 2. Almond shaped eyes or slanting eyes 3. Webbed neck 4. Small ears and protruding tongue 5. Single crease in hand palm 6. Short strature 7.
