Gaze deviation in Neurological lesion

Gaze deviation in Neurological lesion

If midbrain is affected espcially in trauma it is either affected in Neucleus of of CN3 so it will cause ipsilateral conjugate movement toward side of lesion Or affect fibers either somatic causing deviation down and out Or parasympathtic causing dilated fixed pupils In pons : miosis is the role and contralateral gaze deviation
