Neurosis is a broad term used to describe mental, emotional or physical reaction that are abnormal in intensity or method. These behaviors can effect personal and professional life. A neurotic conduct is described as being infatuated by a small task. People get irritated, angry, sad, guilty, worried, self-consciousness, vulnerable or even hostile. A neurotic behavior makes you more prone to other psychiatric diseases like generalized anxiety disorder, OCD, panic disorder and antisocial personality disorder. Treatment is mainly distracting yourself, taking up healthy habits, exercises, joining a club and getting a counselor.
