- Continue 5 mg Salbutamol via oxygen-driven nebulizer - Give 40 mg oral Prednisolone - If oral administration is not possible, then give 100 mg IV of Hydrocortisone - Continue Saltubamol nebulizer at 5-1 mg/hour - In case of fatal asthma or severe acute asthma, administer 1.2-2.0 g IV of magnesium sulphate for 20 minutes - In case of inadequate response to therapy, administer 5 mg/kg Iv of aminophylline for 20 minutes followed by 0.5 mg/kg/hour IV of maintenance dose
