Grey Turner sign is a cutaneous manifestation of intra-abdominal pathology. It is characterized by discoloration of flanks. It is a non-specific finding. Gray Turner sign is associated with acute necrotizing pancreatitis and retroperitoneal hemorrhage. It can also indicate ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm, ruptured spleen, ruptured ectopic pregnancy, hemorrhagic ascites, perforated duodenal ulcer, ruptured hepatocellular carcinoma, and perirenal hemorrhage.
