What are the dermatomes of the upper limbs?

A dermatome is the area of skin in which the sensory supply is derived from the same spinal nerve root. Upper limb dermatomes are as following: C4 supplies the tip of shoulder, C5 supplies part of upper arm, C6 covers the lateral aspect of forearm and thumb. C7 covers the middle fingers and C8 supplies little finger. T1 covers the medial side of upper arm.
