ABCDE of Melanoma

The characteristics of melanoma are now easy to learn through this simple mnemonic: ABCDE A = Asymmetry (non-cancerous moles are symmetrical) B = Borders (the borders of melanoma are not defined whereas non-cancerous moles have distinguished borders) C = Color (multiple colors in case of cancerous lesion whereas only single color in moles) D = Diameter (the diameter of melanoma is more than 6 mm) E = Evolution (melanoma changes over time whereas the characteristics of moles are constant) Reference: https://www.beaumont.org/conditions/melanoma/abcde's-of-melanoma
