With such poor vision mosquitoes seem to have no trouble finding people!!

Mosquitoes use their Antena to smell CO2 and they fly over to that direction. So basically, CO2 and heat and smell of body can attract mosquitoes to a target. And only female mosquitoes bite for blood which is needed for laying eggs. Male mosquitoes drink nectar from plants.
