Liver cirrhosis is a chronic state of liver characteristized by fibrosis and scarring surrounding the regenerating parenchymal nodules. The causes of liver cirrhosis includes Hepatitis infection, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and alcoholic liver disease. The patient with liver cirrhosis may be asymptotic or May clinically present with weight loss, weakness, anorexia and in later stages with liver failure signs like jaundice, encephalopathy, pruritus, portal hypertension, hyperestrogenemia and coagulopathy.
