• Critical condition which can prove fatal without hospitalization • Temperature remains 38 C (100.4 F) or higher in previous 24 hours / History of feeling feverish in previous 24 hours • Radiography reveals ARDS or pneumonia • Minimum 1 potential exposure after 7 days of symptom onset - Travel history where Avian influenza is currently or previously documented in humans or birds - Less than 6 feet distance with a confirmed case of Avian influenza - Working in healthcare industry especially in a laboratory where dealing live HPAI H5N1 virus
