Medical pearl 10 Ptosis + Constricted pupil = Horner's Syndrome. Ptosis + Dilated pupil = 3rd nerve palsy. Low Hb + High reticulocyte count = Hemolytic anemia. Low Hb + Low reticulocyte count = Pure red cell aplasia (Parvo virus infection).
