Carney complex is a rare disease characterized by tumors arising from various organs such as endocrine glands, skin, and heart. Pigmentation is also seen in the affected skin. The death in carney complex occurs secondary to myxoma arising from the heart, resulting in increased incidence of stroke, valvular disorders, and heart failure. Very interesting!! Never heard of this, but now I have π. Another pigmented disorder with cancer, to differenciate from the Peutz-Jegher syndrome. Never would gave thought a myxoma would be the primary cause of death, but does make sense that it leads to lethal stuff from little pieces breaking off.
