Circulatory shock, simple called shock, is a life-threatening condition in which the body has insufficient supply of substrates for aerobic cellular respiration. In this condition, the critical organs i.e. brain, heart, liver, kidney and GIT receive inadequate supply of oxygen and nutrients. This condition in characterized by severe tissue perfusion and inadequate cardiac output.
