CURB-65 is a 5 point scoring system used to identify patients with the greatest risk of mortality and morbidity from pneumonia. Patients with scores 0-1 can be managed on out patient basis while score 2 needs hospital supervised treatment. Those with a score of 3 or above may need intensive care.
