Losartan Oral belongs to the class of Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme (ACE) Inhibitors. Losartan Oral is used for the treatment and management of hypertension. High blood pressure leads to lethal health disorders including cardiac arrest and stroke. To prevent these occurrences, Losartan Oral is prescribed. This drug is also prescribed to patients who suffer cardiac arrest as it increases the chances of survival. The side effects of Losartan Oral include - Backache - Cold-like symptoms - Nausea - Chest pain - Pins-and-needles-like sensation in hands and feet - Weight gain - Oliguria / Anuria - Arrhythmia Losartan Oral interacts with the following drugs. - ACE Inhibitors e.g. Captopril, Benazepril - Angiotensin Receptor Blockers (ARB) e.g. Valsartan, Candesartan - Diuretics e.g. Furosemide, Bumetanide - NSAIDs e.g. Ibuprofen, Naproxen - Lithium - Rifampin
