Laryngitis

Laryngitis is the inflamation of the vocal cord which its anatomical land mark is located at the larynx. Characterized by weak and hoarse voice, sore throat, and cough. Most common cause is a viral infection, however there are other causes as well such as, bacterial infections, and allergies, chemical insults ( e.g. Reflux Esophagitis), exposure to environmental toxins ( e.g. cigarette smoke), or can also occur due to excessive yelling. Treatments: Antibiotics ( only if it is diagnosed as a bacterial infection), NSIAD (like aspirin), Analgesic drugs (in case of allergies), or you can go for some easy treatments like drinking plenty of water and fluid, moist your throat. And most the air that you breath in by using a humidifier. And avoid decongestant, dehydration, whispering and drinking caffeine and alcohol.
