Polycoria refers to two or more pupillary opening. Polycoria may be classified as true polycoria and pseudo-polycoria as follows: - True polycoria Each pupil has its own sphincter muscles. Each pupil can constrict and dilate independently. - Pseudo-polycoria Each pupil has same sphincter muscles. They constrict and dilate together.
