Angioedema

Angioedema is swelling in deep layers of skin and other tissues. This condition might be accompanied by a raised and itchy rash. It can involve any body part but is more prominent around mouth,eyes,lips,tongue,genitalia and extremities. Symptoms include swelling of these parts,abdominal pain,dizziness,shortness of breath and fainting. For cases of allergic angioedema, the treatment emphasizes on prevention from allergens and medications like antihistamines and steroids.
