Carpal tunnel is an osteofibrous canal in the wrist bounded by the carpal bones and flexor retinaculum. The carpal tunnel contains nine tendons and the median nerve. Clinical features: Tingling, numbness and pain in areas innervated by the median nerve. Treatment: - Wearing a splint - Pain killers - Hand exercises - Steroid injection - Carpal tunnel surgery
