Colles’ fracture

Colles’ fracture is the fracture of distal end of radius and ulna with dorsal angulation and displacement of radius. The most common cause of this condition is the fall on an outstretched hand with the hand in pronated position. Clinically this condition presents with pain, swelling and Dinner fork deformity. Treatment includes reduction of the fracture.
