Hydroxychloroquine Oral is an Anti-malarial drug. This drug is used for the treatment of malaria, lupus erythematosus and rheumatoid arthritis. The side effects of Hydroxychloroquine Oral include - Nausea - Vomiting - Headache - Dizziness - Diarrhea - Stomach cramps - Visual problems - Hypoglycemia i.e. low blood glucose level - Tinnitus i.e. ringing of ears - Angioedema i.e. swelling of skin - Sore throat - Easy bruising and bleeding - Suicidal thoughts Hydroxychloroquine Oral interacts with the following drugs. - Diabetic drugs e.g. Insulin, Glyburide - Anti-seizure drugs e.g. Phenytoin, Carbamazepine - Heart drugs e.g. Digoxin, Amiodarone - Immunosuppressant e.g. Methotrexate, Cyclosporine
