Need some tips to study pharmacology
Pharmacology for most part is concept based, so you have to get to the core to understand that. As far the name of the drugs are concerned, I would recommend to make notes of it in your smart phone. As taking notes in Registers or diaries is outdated and they are not with you all the time. So whenever you get free time, like for 5 mins, you can take out your mobile and quickly revise like name of Drugs used in Heart failure and boom! You will be a pro in no time. But remember, space repitition is the key to learning pharm and microbiology.
Integrated studies with physiology and pathology and pharma together. You don't have to re read but just know where drugs are being affected, why, and so on...
Repetition is the key! Practise regularly to reinforce your learning curve. Use mnemonics. Moreover, if you are in your clinical years, observe the patients and see what drugs they're on and why. Hope this helps!
You can google the mnemonics directly whenever u study a topic, u can also make a few yourself!
