🙋Epistaxis is bleeding from the nostril usually without coughing or any form of vomiting in the clinical picture. It could follow trauma to the fragile nasal capillaries. 🌽Hemoptisis is coughing out blood or bloody sputum whose origin is the respiratory track it could be from a lung cancer, LHF or CHF, etc 🌽Haematemesis is the vomiting 🤮 of blood which could be frank fresh blood or digested blood depending on whether it's from the esophagus or below it. Could be from a ruptured esophageal varis, esophageal cancer, stomach cancer etc, 🔗It's important to note that someone vomiting blood might aspirate and cough up the same blood hence u must always evaluate properly with a good history and a good physical examination to establish the origin of the bleeding. The three presentations are differentials. Thank you 😌. Please ask any questions
