Lash Lice

Lash lice or Phthiriasis Palpebrarum is a sexually acquired infestation in which pubic lice can be seen crawling on the eyelashes. They also lay down nits which stick to the lashes. Patients present with blepharitis and itching at the eyelid margin. Treatment involves: 1. Manual removal with forceps 2. Trimming of eyelashes 3.
