Hi, I'm Diya. I'm 13 years old. My aim is to become a cardiothoracic surgeon. I'm trying to learn more and more about human body. Heart is my favorite topic to study about. I just learned about 23 congenital heart diseases. And also congestive heart failures, myocardial infarctions, arrhythmias, coronary artery diseases and much more..... I'm obsessed in learning about human body........ A couple of weeks ago I did some researches on post-covid syndrome, covid-19 and cardiovascular complications.... ANY ADVICE FOR ME......
Hey Diya! It's so nice to know that you are so passionate about medicine! One advice from my side would be that once the pandemic is over, try finding volunteer work or shadowing opportunities in your nearby hospitals and healthcare facilities. You learn the most when you see the patients. And ofcourse work hard to get into med school!
