Anterior Nasal Packing

Anterior Nasal Packing

Anterior nasal packing is a frequently performed procedure in otorhinolaryngology departments to stop nosebleeds. A long ribbon gauze is fitted inside the nose which exerts pressure over the bleeding vessels and also helps soak the blood. This great video by Dr. Vikram demonstrates the steps of the process on a real patient!
