Intercostal muscles

Intercostal muscles

The intercostal muscles lie between the ribs and build the walls of the thorax. They can move the ribs and have roles in breathing. Let's look at the layers of external, internal and innermost intercostal muscles and talk about what they do. I know I said I'd look at the organs of the male pelvis this week, but I forgot. I'll do it in a couple of weeks. Honest.
