Can a simple bacteria that causes sore throat lead to this picture we observe here? The answer is Yes! - Flesh eating bacteria (necrotizing fasciitis) is a rare infection of the skin and tissues below it. It is caused by group A streptococcus (GAS) bacteria. That's the same type of bacteria that causes strep throat. Several types of other bacteria, such as staphylococcus have also been linked to the disease.

Throat cultures but not your usual sore throat lidacaine viscous and hopefully they will learn simple bacteria isn't always good bacteria
