This phase come under Marasmus because it caused by prolonged starvation with marginal intake of food. Sevre wasting of muscle present due to somatic protein loss, so it is recovering fast. than kwashiorkor because it have both somatic and visceral protein loss it is sevear and come under non compensatory phase. And underweight in only mild malnutrition problem it recover early.😅😊
