I'm curious, what kind of equipment and tools would you bring on an overseas backpacking trip? In addition to a basic first aid kit, I was thinking: •sterile Scalpels to drain infected wounds •general skin sutures to close wounds •various forceps for splinters What would you add for minor backpacking field surgeries in a 2nd or 3rd world country?
