Blocked tear ducts most likely . Unless the sclera and conjunctiva is red and inflamed it’s most likely just the ducts. Very common in neonates . warm compresses on the eyes to help open the ducts daily. watch the sclera and conjuctiva for inflammation and redness which could be an indication of something else. vaginal delivery? ruptured membranes ? all need to know before diagnosing anything caught from mom
Nasolacrimal duct blockage.physiotherapy &warm compresses on eyes.if not improving in four weeks then syringing of nasolacrimal duct done.
