Is it becoz mother receives tt and the child is passively immunised

Yes that's good, when mother received her first TT dose in second trimester Ig m antibody develop in mother who doesn't corss placenta barrier just because of it's larger size, then after one month when mother got TT second dose then Ig G antibody develop in mother or it's cross placenta and provide immunity to baby passivly
