Conjunctivitis

22 years old female pt came with complaint of redness of eyes and purulent discharge from both eyes eye lids are bit swollen since 3 days It first started in right eye when left was normal Bit tenderness Purulent discharge is marked in the morning And h/o sticking of eyelashes together Hard to open eyes in the morning Conjunctiva-red No corneal involvement No papillae or follicles Might be suggestive of bacterial conjunctivitis?? What can be the diagnosis and treatment??

Yes, congestion in fornices along with purulent discharge is suggested of bacterial conjunctivitis.install ciprofloxacin/ofloxacin one drop in both eyes for five days.also do cold sponging.while sleep, keep affected eye downward.
